August, 2006 CitiApartments And Energy 92.7 FM Team Up To Aide Battered Women CitiApartments and Energy 92.7 FM proudly announce their collaboration to assist battered women in San Francisco's Mission District. San Francisco, CA July 24, 2006 CitiApartments, owner and operator of 150 apartment buildings throughout San Francisco, and dance music radio, Energy 92.7 FM (http://energy927fm.com) are excited to be working together on a campaign for La Casa De Las Madres, a shelter for battered women in the Mission District. In an effort to raise funds and coinciding with the release of their new CD, "Pure Dance", Energy 92.7 is pleased to donate $1 to the shelter for every "Pure Dance" CD sold. In addition, CitiApartments will be adding fifty cents to that donation for every person that visits their website (http://www.citiapartments.com) and clicks on the La Casa De Las Madres logo. With so many more opportunities to contribute in the community of San Francisco, this is merely the first step in community relations that CitiApartments plans to get involved with. La Casa de las Madres (http://www.lacasa.org/) offers emergency residential shelter to battered women and their children while providing counseling, family-based services and referrals. La Casa's downtown San Francisco office houses two 24-hour Crisis Phone Lines, a Drop-In Counseling Center, the Teen Intervention & Prevention Program, and the Community Education & Outreach Program. All services are offered free-of-charge in English and Spanish.
