CitiApartments Raises Funds to Support Local Women's Shelter

CitiApartments aids battered women in San Francisco's Mission District

San Francisco, CA September 4, 2006

CitiApartments, owner and operator of 150 apartment buildings throughout San Francisco, joined the local effort to help support La Casa De Las Madres, a shelter for battered women in the Mission District. Through their efforts, CitiApartments was able to raise $171.00 simply by asking web surfers who visited their website (http://www.citiapartments.com) to click on the La Casa De Las Madres logo. For every person who clicked on the logo, CitiApartments gladly made a fifty-cent donation to the shelter.

CitiApartments proudly added to the donation achieved by their campaign for La Casa De Las Madres to a total contribution of $2,500.00.

CitiApartments is thrilled to be able to give back to the community and plans to be a leader in upcoming fundraising campaigns to help support the San Francisco community.

La Casa de las Madres (http://www.lacasa.org/) offers emergency residential shelter to battered women and their children while providing counseling, family-based services and referrals. La Casa's downtown San Francisco office houses two 24-hour Crisis Phone Lines, a Drop-In Counseling Center, the Teen Intervention & Prevention Program, and the Community Education & Outreach Program. All services are offered free-of-charge in English and Spanish.
