December, 2006 Family moves in just in time for the holidays San Francisco Sentinal Story - Click Here San Francisco, CA (HTC-PR) - December 26, 2006 CitiApartments, owner and operator of 150 apartment buildings throughout San Francisco, has partnered with The Hamilton Family Center to provide apartments to the homeless for a rental fee of $1 per year. The first family, a homeless father and his son recently moved into their new, fully furnished and decorated, studio apartment that they received as part of this program. Earlier this fall, CitiApartments agreed to set aside some of their apartments permanently for the homeless. As formerly homeless tenants move on to other accommodations the units they vacate will be filled by other families and single adults without housing. The Hamilton Family Center, Raphael House, Sophisticate Interiors, Benefit Magazine, and the AIDS Emergency Fund have all collaborated with CitiApartments to make this dream a reality for this family, and other families. David Raynal, C.O.O. of CitiApartments said, "It is such a wonderful feeling to know that this father and his son will wake up on Christmas morning in the warmth of their own apartment. I am just happy that we were in a position to be able to help."
